Dear Sunnyside Up Farm Community,
As this season unfolds and we continue to share pieces of the farm, our community, and our lives with you, this newsletter carries a deeper meaning for us.
This edition is in honor of Scott, as we mark two years since his passing.
Scott was a steady presence, a source of strength, and a quiet kind of light that continues to ripple through everything we do. Though he is no longer here in the way we once knew him, his spirit remains woven into the land, the work, and the intention behind Sunnyside Up Farm.
Anniversaries like this invite reflection. They remind us how much love endures, how connection doesn’t simply end, and how the people who shape us continue to guide us forward in unseen ways. In many ways, this farm—its growth, its heart, its purpose—carries pieces of him.
As you read through this newsletter, know that Scott’s words are shared here just as he spoke them. Unfiltered, honest, and true to who he was.He believed that respect is earned and never just given, and that being real matters more than being polished.
