Lately, it feels like the world is louder than ever. News alerts, social media feeds, endless opinions, and constant notifications compete for our attention every waking moment. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, distracted, and disconnected from what truly matters.

Recently, we were reminded of a different way.

Two young boys spent an afternoon visiting the farm. They weren't interested in screens, headlines, or what was happening online. Instead, they explored. They got their hands dirty. They watched the chickens, wandered through the garden, asked endless questions, and discovered the simple joy of being fully present.

As we watched them, we were reminded of exactly why Sunnyside Up Farm exists.

This little corner of the world was created to be a place where people can slow down, reconnect with nature, build community, learn something new, and remember that some of life's greatest moments happen when we step away from the noise and return to the basics.

Inside this issue, you'll find a delicious summertime recipe, two wonderful Meet the Maker features, and information about three upcoming events designed to bring our community together.

First up is our Sunnyside Up Coloring & Activity Book Launch & Art Party with Cita the Painting Horse on June 14, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. We're so excited to celebrate the release of our children's activity book featuring the adorable animals of Sunnyside Up Farm, along with fun facts, coloring pages, puzzles, and activities for young farm lovers.
