Turning Inward
There is something about fall that naturally draws us inward.
Maybe it’s the earlier sunsets or the return to quieter evenings at home. Whatever the reason, this season seems to create space for reflection, for listening, and perhaps for asking ourselves questions we didn’t have time to hear during the busyness of summer.
We’ve noticed that same shift happening with the experiences we’re creating at Sunnyside Up.
Last month, we gathered with Bend local Cathleen Hylton for Activating Your Intuition, and the evening was truly something special.
Cathleen welcomed us with open arms and created a space where everyone could settle in, quiet the outside noise and explore what it means to trust the wisdom already within us. There was laughter, vulnerability, connection and an energy in the room that was difficult to describe.
Afterward, several participants shared that they could still feel that “buzz” of energy long after the evening ended, with some saying they were still feeling it the following morning. There was a sense that something had shifted, or perhaps simply awakened, and that feeling stayed with people well beyond our time together.
It reminded us why these gatherings matter.
Sunnyside Up events have always been about bringing people together, whether we’re painting a bird, learning something new, sharing a meal or exploring something a little deeper. But lately, we’ve found ourselves especially drawn to experiences that invite us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves and one another, and leave with something meaningful to carry home.
Which makes what’s coming next feel especially fitting.
